Join our next Easy Social Ride

Our next Easy Social Ride is on this Sunday, 20 October, departing from Forde Shops at 9am.

Our first ride in the Spring series was well attended, with 5 participants including our new Executive Director, Cecily Michaels. Everyone enjoyed the easy pace meandering from the Arboretum to Curtin, stopping for coffee at Stromlo Forest Park, and taking in views of the Molonglo River on the return leg.

Despite the occasional challenge from strong winds, participants were in good spirits and appreciative of the competent guidance provided by our experienced ride leader, Peter Elford.
“It was such a joy to get back on our bikes and explore the amazing cycling routes available to us in the ACT,” one rider shared with Cecily.

This weekend’s ride will be a gentle ramble through some of the green corridors in Ngunnawal, passing through Forde, Amaroo, Ngunnawal, and Moncrieff. Most of the ride will be on shared bike paths, using underpasses wherever possible. And of course, there will be a coffee stop at the end.

Our Easy Social Rides are free, but we ask you to register here, in case we have any last minute communications for participants.
