Volunteer
Volunteer
Pedal Power ACT is run by bike riders for bike riders. Our volunteers are the core of what we do, and it is their passion and commitment that makes the wheels turn at Pedal Power.
Our volunteers do all sorts of work to support the Canberra cycling community:
Repairing donated bikes at our Bike Library
Helping us organise events like the ACT Election Forum 2024 or film screenings
Ensuring that the elderly can experience the wind in their hair as part of our Cycling Without Age program
Writing articles for our members-only magazine, Canberra Cyclist
Sharing their cycling knowledge at our monthly social nights
Providing administrative support at our office
Supporting the instructors that teach our learn to ride courses
There are many other ways that you can contribute to Pedal Power and you don’t have to be a member to volunteer with us!
If you are passionate about riding bikes, cycling infrastructure or active travel policy then we’d love to hear from you!
Get in touch at membership@pedalpower.org.au and sign up to our newsletter to stay up to date with what we’re up to.
