Saturday Social Ride
Ride about 25 km on sealed bike paths and quiet roads in Canberra to a café for a sociable feed and drink. Can then return to start with others or disperse as desired. Pace is relatively easy to moderate and the group waits for slower riders. When rides start at Action, a shorter and slower option is arranged if riders present so desire. Similar options can often be arranged from other locations.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all Pedal Power bike rides and events are ‘unsupported’ and riders are to be totally self sufficient and provide their own water, food, tools, pump, spares (spokes, tubes, etc), puncture repair kits, and whatever else they desire and there is no ‘sag wagon’ or equivalent. On rides with some support, the type and level of support is given in the ride details. |
